Educational courses German language for special purposes (intensive training)

German language courses for special purposes are designed to provide intensive training in mastering a foreign language, which is essential for effective communication across different social and professional settings. Additionally, this training promotes intercultural communication and socio-cultural development through the dialogue of native and foreign languages.

The objectives of the courses are to form the skills of communicative competence that allows using formal means to create grammatically and phonetically correct, meaningful statements in a foreign language, to understand and transmit information in coherent, logical and reasoned statements, to plan their speech and non–speech behaviour adequately to the tasks of communication, to overcome a shortage of language knowledge with the help of general cultural foreign language skills, as well as ideas about the "picture of the world" peculiar to a native speaker.

At the end, the listener must

know:

• Norms of literary pronunciation of the foreign language being studied
• Grammatical system, morphology and syntax of a foreign language
• Common and literary vocabulary of the language being studied
• Techniques and methods of intercultural communication in the foreign language being studied

Be able to:

• Correctly and competently in terms of language to express their thoughts in dialogical and monological forms on a wide range of issues of everyday, social, cultural and scientific topics
• Freely understand oral dialogic and monologue speech within the framework of the topics studied
• Verbally express your thoughts using necessary stylistic and emotional-modal means of language
• Express your thoughts competently and logically in writing: write reproductive and creative works, short articles on current literary and social topics
