From 270.00 руб.
The professional activity of a customs specialist is inextricably linked with proficiency in foreign languages, as their responsibilities include studying and preparing documents in a foreign language, and carrying out customs control of goods and shipments from foreign companies and individuals. Language training for students in this field is aimed not only at acquiring knowledge of the structure of the target language, but also at applying that knowledge within a professional context. Studying Polish as a foreign language from a practical perspective enhances professionalism, develops students’ linguistic and communicative competencies, raises their intellectual and cultural level, and complements the knowledge gained through their study of a first foreign language.
These educational courses are designed for beginners. The curriculum focuses on building basic speaking skills and familiarizing students with the grammatical and syntactic systems of Polish through professionally relevant themes and situations. Course participants will become acquainted with Polish speech etiquette and will learn essential vocabulary related to travel, customs procedures, and the key duties of customs officials.
The primary goal of the course is to develop knowledge and skills in spoken Polish and communicative grammar at the beginner level, as well as to foster foreign language communicative competence that enables students to use Polish as a means of professional interaction.
Achieving this goal involves a systematic approach to language instruction and includes the following objectives:
Knowledge development in:
- Phonetic, grammatical, and stylistic norms of the Polish language
- Semantic-syntactic features of Polish vocabulary, tailored to various contexts and forms of communication
- Principles of verbal interaction and specific features of Polish business etiquette
- Major functional types of monologic and dialogic speech
Skill development in:
- Listening to and understanding authentic foreign-language speech in various communicative situations
- Producing spoken statements aligned with the norms and conventions of Polish
- Communicating confidently within the thematic blocks set by the curriculum
The course integrates Polish language learning into the broader training of customs professionals within the context of business and professional communication.
