The educational seminar «Theory and practice of working with parental prescriptions in the upbringing of a child» is held for the students of educational institutions and specialists in the field of education.

In the modern world, the understanding of family is growing more and more as determining not only the development of a child, but ultimately the development of the whole society. The interaction of a child with parents is the first experience of interaction with the outside world. This experience is consolidated and forms certain patterns of behaviour with other people, which are passed on from generation to generation. Every society develops a certain culture of relationships and interaction between parents and children, arise social stereotypes, certain attitudes and views on upbringing in a family. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the degree of civilization in a society is determined not only by the attitude towards women, but also by the attitude towards children.

The goal of this programme is to provide trainees with methods for teaching parents of children and adolescents to build constructive relationships in family; to develop skills and knowledge in «adult education».

Seminar objectives:

• formation of students' knowledge about the basic concepts of the family system and ideas about various aspects of family life;
• introduction to the main methods of diagnosing parental attitudes, differentiating them into "interfering" and "helping" in the process of interacting with a child;
• teaching how to conduct the developmental group classes with the parents;
• teaching self-help skills and assisting others (reflection).

Duration: 4 academic hours.

Number of participants: minimum 8 people.

Participation fee: 20 BYN / 1 participant.

After completion of the seminar a certificate of education of a standard form is issued.
