Saint Petersburg is an amazing and diverse city. Due to the variety of its appearances, it cannot bore even the most frequent tourists – regular guests of the Northern capital. It never ceases to amaze and inspire the residents of the city too.
Tour programme:
Day 1
Departure from Minsk at 5.30 p.m. (Yakub Kolas Square). Night transfer.
Day 2
Arrival in St. Petersburg. Breakfast. 10 a.m. – country bus tour to Peterhof – the Grand residence of Russian emperors. Tour of the Lower Park with the world's largest fountain complex. Independent visit to one of the Small Palaces.
Optionally: an excursion to Kronstadt "Fortress City on the Baltic" (for an additional fee). Return to the city. Check-in at the hotel. Free time.
Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. 9 a.m. - bus sightseeing tour of the city (2.5-3 hours) – the ensemble of Old Saint Petersburg Stock Exchange and Rostral Columns, Nevsky Prospekt, Palace Square, Admiralty, Bronze Horseman, St. Isaac's Square, the Smolny Cathedral. A visit to the main temple of the city – Kazan Cathedral built in the name of the icon Our Lady of Kazan.
Tour of the Peter and Paul Fortress for 1 hour (self-inspection of Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral for an additional fee).
Optionally in your free time: excursion to the "Northern Venice" along the rivers and canals (for an additional fee). Free time in the city.
Day 4
9 a.m. – breakfast at the hotel. 10 a.m. - bus thematic tour "Palaces of St. Petersburg and their owners" – the palaces of the Royal family and the great nobility: Menshikov, Sheremetyevo palaces, the Winter Palace of Peter I, the Summer Palace of Peter I, Tauride Palace, Mikhailovsky Palace, Vladimir Palace).
Optionally in your free time: an excursion to the State Hermitage Museum – a treasury of world art, one of the richest museums located in the magnificent Winter Palace (entrance tickets + guide for an additional fee).
Optionally: an excursion "Night mysteries of St. Petersburg" (for an additional fee).
Day 5
9 a.m. – breakfast at the hotel. 10 a.m. - Country bus tour "Under the shadow of Tsarskoye Selo gardens" with a visit to Catherine Park – a magnificent work of Russian landscape art of the XVIII-XIX centuries. A tour of the state halls of the Catherine Palace with the famous Amber room.
Optionally, in your free time: an excursion to the Pavlovsk State Museum-Reserve – the summer residence of Emperor Paul and his family, the magnificent landscape Park and the Pavlovsk Palace (for an additional fee). Buying souvenirs in a hypermarket. Departure to Minsk.
Day 6
Arrival in Minsk in the first half of the day.
