Belarusian language is one of the two official languages in our country and
the oldest among the Slavic. It is used by more than 7 million people. The
Belarusian language is recognized by UNESCO as the second after Italian in
melodic beauty. At the beginning of 2009, this international organization added
Belarusian to the list of languages that are facing extinction. However, the
hope that Belarusians will be able to save their language still remains.
