The aim of the programme is to prepare applicants for the "Creativity" entrance exam

The objective is to master the skills of drawing a still life (consisting of 3-4 objects, one of which is geometric shape, against a drapery background) from life

As a result of the course, students should:

Know:

• The basics of perspective drawing and methods of constructing a drawing
• The concepts of construction, form and volume, the laws of linear and aerial perspective, and the pictorial means of drawing
• The main stages of working on a still life

Be able to:

• Correctly perceive three-dimensional forms and logically and consistently depict them on a plane sheet of paper
• Convey proportions, space, and materiality
• Have a holistic vision
• Create a well-composed sheet

Materials used: graphite pencil, white A-2 paper (597x420 mm)

Study level: basic

Duration: 12 weeks

Total Hours: 105 hours (63 practical, 42 methodological)
